What file types are recommended for artwork uploads?

We preferred pdf format. Be sure to convert all fonts to outlines or curves before sending the file. All text should be at least 5mm from the edge.

Acceptable formats include:
PDF (Adobe Reader PDF)
EPS (Encapsulated Post Script)
AI (Adobe Illustrator)
PSD (Adobe Photoshop)
JPEG (High Resolution JPEG)
TIFF (High Resolution TIFF)

Depending on the resolution and pixels, PSD, JPEG, TIFF files gets blurry when enlarged. Thumbnail JPGs or GIFs cannot be used for large prints.

Can I change my artwork once it has been approved and is in production?

Once your artwork has been approved it will go straight to production and no changes can be made.

What is the difference between gloss and matt finish?

Gloss adds vibrancy and shine for striking colours. It is best used for photos and colourful designs.

Matte paper has a coating that keeps its surface from being reflective. It Prints any design well. Best for lighter colours. Easy to write on. Colours will have a flatter finish than on a glossy paper.

How to get a solid black colour printed?

Using K=100 sometime will greyish on final print. It is advisable to design the artwork using rich black which is C=40, M=40, Y=40, K=100.

How much is your graphic design charges?

Our standard rate is $50 hour. Please get in touch with your design requirements so that we can advise the estimated charges based on the complexity of the job. Please note that the final charges is calculated based on the actual time taken. We will inform you of the additional charges if the requested amendment/change of scope is likely to exceed what we have estimated for the total design hours.

How do I order online if my file size is larger?

Please email us the link (google drive, wetransfer, dropbox etc.)

Where can I redeem discount coupon on your website?

To receive discount on your bulk purchase, simply apply the respective coupon code on the checkout page.

What is your standard order turnaround time?

The standard turnaround time for most of our products is 24 hours to 48 hours (1-2 working days). Please note that our order processing cut-off time is 1pm and order submitted after 1pm will only be processed at the following working day.

Does turnaround time include delivery?

No. Turnaround time begins when artwork is confirmed and ends when product is ready for pick up or delivery at our store.

Can I print copyrighted contents?

It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain consent from the owner for any copyrighted content. Print Rotorua will not print any offensive materials, amended legal documents, certificates and notes (money).

How much is your delivery charges?

FREE Delivery in Rotorua. Enjoy cheaper, simpler delivery options. Flat rate delivery $8.99. Certain orders may have additional delivery charges.

Can I pick up my orders?

Unfortunately, at this time we’re unable to accommodate pickup requests.

How long does it take for delivery?

We use overnight courier service, the delivery target is 1-2 working days for North Island, 2-3 working days for South Island and 2-5 working days are required for rural address. Please note that there could be occasional delay for delivery of oversized products. Track and trace is included in the delivery charges.

Delivery lead time is advised according to the information provided by courier company and Print Rotorua shall not be held responsible for any delay in delivery (except for missing parcel).

What should I do if the order did not arrive within reasonable time frame?

Please email us as soon as possible so that we can lodge an enquiry with the courier company. The courier company will take a few days to trace the parcel and upon confirmation that the parcel is loss during transit, we will arrange for a full refund or have the order re-printed and re-delivered.

Can I request for a refund if the order was not delivered in time for our event?

We won’t be able to offer a refund if the late delivery is resulted from delivery process. While generally the courier companies are pretty good in getting the orders delivered within the recommended lead time, there is occasional delay from unforeseen circumstances such as weather event. It is not possible for the courier company to offer a 100% on time delivery guarantee.

We highly recommend our customers to place their order as early as possible and once the order is dispatched, it is crucial to keep track of the parcel status. This will leave more room for recovery process to take place in case of delivery issue.

Can I request for a refund if I have changed my mind?

We are unable to provide a refund once the order has been processed.
